This 25-piece Elder Futhark Rune set is hand-carved by Ashley at Ash Tree Runes (a branch of Ash Tree Books 📚) using an exceptional 735 carats of high-grade rainbow labradorite—a gemstone prized for its luminous depth, shifting light, and rare, full-spectrum flash.

Rainbow labradorite is known for its vivid play of color, revealing blues, greens, golds, and fiery spectral hues as the stone moves in the light. Long regarded as a stone of magic, protection, and liminal awareness, labradorite is associated with intuition, spiritual insight, and the bridge between what is seen and unseen. It is said to strengthen inner vision, guard the energetic field, and support those who work with subtle realms—making it a powerful companion for divination and sacred practice.

What makes this set especially meaningful is the use of the three traditional pigment colors rooted in Norse and Germanic tradition: red, blue, and green. Each color was intentionally applied to one of the three Ætts of the Elder Futhark, honoring both their symbolic structure and spiritual function.
