The Decameron of Boccaccio, by Giovanni Boccaccio. Published and printed in the USA by The Bibliophilist Society.
The book bears NO publication date. However, it was published between the years 1930 and 1936. This copy contains lovely uncredited black & white plate illustrations (apparently by “Leop. Flameng”?)

No previous owner’s names, not ex-library. Overall in VERY GOOD condition Size: 8vo – over 7¾” – 9¾” tall. All of the 307 pages are clean and tight to hinge. The black cloth hardcover and gold gilt blind stamp on the spine is unfaded. Quite a handsome copy. Top-edge red. Fore-edge of textblock untrimmed.
