This unique collection features three undated Bibles, each with distinct characteristics that make them ideal for a Bible collector or antiquarian enthusiast. All three are sold together as a set. Please refer to the detailed pictures to assess the condition of each Bible.

 

1. The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments

   • Publisher: Thomas Nelson & Sons, New York

   • Condition: The interior shows a full seam split, and there is handwriting from a previous owner on several pages. Additional ephemera from the former owner is tucked inside, adding historical interest.

2. The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments

   • Publisher: Oxford, Printed at the University Press, London

   • Condition: Features a gold textblock and some fascinating ephemera, including a vintage newspaper article about an organ in a Winnipeg church mysteriously playing for 20 minutes during a service without an organist present.

     

3. Miniature-Sized Bible

   • Condition: Though the title page is missing, this Bible boasts a black leather cover in excellent condition and a gold textblock. One page has a small tear on the bottom corner. Includes a black ribbon marker.

These Bibles, each with their own unique history, would be a valuable addition to any collection.
