Description
The Tower of London; an Historical Romance, by William Harrison Ainsworth. Stamped ‘Author’s copyright edition’. Published in London by George Routledge and Sons. The book is undated although there is a previous owners name written with a date of 1892. I deduce it was published sometime in the 1880’s based on facts about the printing history of Routledge and Son’s.
The condition of the book is Good. All pages are secure and tight to hinge. The black cloth cover is unfaded and the spine had nice shelf appeal with the title in gold gilt lettering. All of the pages are clean other than previous owners name on pre title page. 464 pages.
