Rainbow Labradorite · 735 ct
This work features a hand-carved Elder Futhark rune set carved on 735 carats of high-grade, natural polished rainbow labradorite, created using the traditional Norse colour triad — red, blue, and green. Each rune was carved by me, by hand, one at a time, allowing the character of the stone to guide the process.
I carve slowly and with intention. Labradorite reveals its colour and flash only when the light meets it just right, and I find this mirrors the way the runes speak — not all at once, but in moments. Nothing here is rushed; each mark is made deliberately.
Rainbow labradorite is often associated with liminal spaces, protection, intuition, and inner sight, making it a fitting companion for a set intended for deep listening and long paths rather than quick answers.
This rune set is one of a kind, and while this exact set has now found its home, I do create custom Elder Futhark rune sets in a similar spirit — working with stone, colour tradition, and intention to shape something uniquely aligned for its keeper.
