The Water-Babies, A Fairy Tale for a Land-Baby, by Charles Kingsley.  

Published by Blackie and Son Limited, undated.

I presume it to be published in the 1880s based on collecting data on Blackie and Son’s printing history.  Blue cloth blind-stamped boards. This was a library copy. Page 142 has been removed, see the image in the gallery area for example of this.  Corner and spine ends rubbed and bumped. There are four colour plates plus b/w illustrations by Alice B. Woodward (uncredited). All other pages present including endpapers and the lovely color plates. 256 pages.
