Of note: On page 77, a previous owner meticulously hand-painted a black-and-white illustration of the Cheddar Pink flower. Their work is so skillfully done that at first glance, it appears to be part of the book’s original design. This unique feature adds character to the book and reflects a personal connection to its subject matter. (See images in the gallery for an example of this enhancement.)
