“This book was first published October 11th, 1928″ Reprinted forty times, Reprinted 1963”.
The green cloth binding is still a vivid green. There is a full split down hinge between the front pastedown and the pre-title leaf (see a picture included in the gallery area attached to this posting for an example of this). All 178 pages present secure to hinge and clean other than a previous authors name written on front endpaper. A charming copy with all of Ernest Shepards sketches on every other page throughout the entire book. The green cloth board is not particularly common copy.
