A vintage astrological text by Max Heindel, published by the Rosicrucian Fellowship. This work presents a systematic approach to constructing and interpreting horoscopes, including the calculation of planetary positions, the significance of the zodiac, and the philosophical principles underlying the author’s astrological teachings.

The volume includes a Philosophic Encyclopedia of Astrology, tables of planetary hours, and instructional material on erecting a horoscope. Heindel’s approach reflects the Rosicrucian tradition, connecting astrological study with spiritual philosophy and the individual’s place within a larger cosmic order.

An Interesting Piece of Ephemera

Tucked inside the book is a vintage Valentine’s Day card featuring Ronald McDonald, copyright 1975 by McDonald’s Corporation and printed in Canada. The colourful card reads, “You send me, Valentine!” and offers an unexpected glimpse of everyday life in the 1970s.

The reverse bears handwritten personal information, including a name and birth details. This information has been retained with the book but is not reproduced in the listing photographs for privacy reasons. The card is an interesting piece of period ephemera, although its original connection to the book is unknown.

An appealing addition for collectors of vintage astrology, Rosicrucian literature, metaphysical books, and twentieth-century ephemera.
