I’m really looking forward to connecting with the Port Alberni community at this vibrant evening market! These events are such a joy for me — most of the time I’m working behind the scenes with my online bookstore, but markets like this bring everything to life. I love getting to set up, feel the energy in the air, see all the other vendors, and just soak in the buzz of people exploring, discovering, and connecting. There’s something special about being in the moment with others who love stories, art, and meaning just as much as I do.
Under the same tent, you’ll find both Ash Tree Books and Ash Tree Runes — two branches of the same heartfelt offering.

I’ll have a curated selection of vintage and collectible books, along with a full table of my hand-carved Elder Futhark Rune sets — each one carved with care and intention. I work directly with the stones myself, and each set is unique. Some of the gemstones I carve on include natural Bisbee turquoise, labradorite, lapis lazuli, amethyst, obsidian, and more.
